Thanks. Timely pick though, frankly, it doesn't look like this summer's Tokyo games are happening (despite the obstinance of the front office).

I believe he won gold at the 1960 Olympics and set a new world record...without shoes! I've run my share of laps around the reservoir at Central Park, but never barefoot.

It's one Val Kilmer flick I've not seen. Thanks.

The only thing missing from this opener is the SMELL around Elizabeth, New Jersey. :sigh:

Yeah, Plex has it streaming free (with ads)...

Dude :shake:... no. Thanks for the tip, though. Plex is a nice cable alternative. :tiphat:

Dr. Strangelove. The most erotic opening ever?

Funny, too. For a less straightforward space dance (from the same decade)...

The Streets of San Francisco. That killer opening musical salvo, with the drums, the keys, the wah-wah guitar; the dynamic editing, the iconic SF locations - what more could you want?

Yep. Think somebody mentioned this one. The memorable ones will get multiple plugs. :)

That great "Johnny Quest" opening took me back .. to memories of an even earlier favorite H-B 'toon that mirrors reality a little more closely ..

It's a very cynically funny show that didn't get past it's first season. I thought it "softened up" a bit and lost some edge as it neared the last few episodes but I would still highly recommend it.

First season opening of Felicity, understated, beautiful black & white imagery.

It fit perfectly with the dark shadowy photography of the first two seasons, before the network ordered everything to be bright and colorful.

Never noticed before that Peter Cushing got top billing in ' Horror of Dracula '.
Doesn't seem fair as Christopher Lee was the title character.
The movie wasn't called 'Horror of Van Helsing ' was it ?

Anyway...I love those Hammer horror movies. Blood and bosums.

Never saw an episode, but somehow it brings to mind one of my favorites:
