Well, the Beatles did have a few different looks during the film Help.

Some less mod than others...I think those scarves were an added twist...

They did have the beatnik look during certain parts of the film. And the turtleneck "intellectual" look...

Just comparing the looks and noting similarities in fashion and style.

Pete did not die before he got old.

 

I love the way he's grown old... After the silly 1982 hairdo, he's let nature take its course: no dye, implants, wigs or other foolishness. He has actually (gasp!) grown old GRACEFULLY!
