Favourite American Album in 1969?

In 1969 this would be my pick.
Today I would pick Green River by CCR.

I would have picked that one, except that I took the question to mean albums we were actually playing in 1969. Didn't get to The Velvets until the early 70's so it was a toss up between The Stooges and Kick Out The Jams.

 

Great album, but I prefer the red album, released Dec. 29.
