Beautifully done in every way. Fox's physical reactions - especially how he stumbles several times, obviously severely disoriented really sells it.
This is one of my favorite scenes, for sheer impact. On the other hand, I'll never watch it again. I don't think there's anything NSFW here - just some terrible sounds and a violent crime, but I don't remember there being any real blood or gore.
Well There is one that has stuck with me for years since I was kid. Who knows why. I dont know the name of the movie but in it a brown haired boy is cooking something I guess and suddenly the pot lid blows through the brown shingled roof.
CLASSIC CARRY ON CLIPS: UP THE KHYBER (DINNER PARTY SCENE) "Oh dear. Har-har-har… I seem to have got a little plastered..." That's class.
From That Thing You Do when Del Paxton first meets Guy Patterson at the jazz club, decides that he likes him, and offers him some sage advice based on his experiences as a musician. I really wish there was a YouTube for that scene. This scene, later in the movie is just as good .
Lonesome Dove (any scene!) - Have to go w/one w/(Captain "Gus" McCrae) Robert Duvall & (Captain Woodrow F. Call) Tommy Lee Jones The Gus McCrae School Of Bartending
Movie: All Of Me Scene: Private Conversation after "transfer of souls/bodies" - "I'm The Right Side, You're The Left..."
Okay...last one: Movie: You've Got Mail Scene: Blind Date "It Almost Looks Like.../Kathleen Kelly" Dave Chappelle/Tom Hanks
Even after all the ridiculous sequels to the original Jurassic Park, and the many times I've seen the original 1993 film (including in the theater), this scene still amazes me - still has the magic after all these years of why we love the cinematic experience. For me, it captures beautifully the wonder and the magic of films. The soundtrack and musical score by John Williams also had a huge part to play, especially in this scene but still stop and enjoy every minute of it. A lot of it is nostalgia as well, as it reminds me so much of growing up and coming of age during this time period. Not often does the "hype" of a movie live up to expectations, but this movie really held its own.
