I use a Victor Victrola Model 100 from the early 1920s. Some time ago Steve posted a link to a site that is selling turntables for 78 play but I didn't bookmark it. Maybe someone else remembers it.
I use a Dual 1229 TT with a Shure V15 III -w/78 stylus and get pretty good results. I know that doing it right invloves using an EQ other than RIAA, but I'm not quite serious enough to go to that point. There's a store pretty close to where I live called Vintage Music Co. that I go if I'm looking for a specific 78 or advice on the old gear. The guy who runs it has an encyclopedic knowledge of the gear and the music. He regularly stocks huge amounts of records, cylinders, and restored radios and phonographs. I sometimes go in there just to look at the stuff!
