It was a great album. Too bad the band had no longevity. As for the DVD, which version of Relax did they use? I recall there were at least 5 different versions of the video?

More than that, there were also different versions of "Two Tribes" on the original CDs from different countries. I always thought the one on the Sanyo Japan pressed Island/ZTT (610 195-222 CID 101; distributed by the Ariola Group in Germany) was the best by far (some 9 minutes long with lots of bass and percussion).
Unfortunately there was no "San José" on that version...

I have the "Sonic Collection" on SACD and it's a great party disc.

Is the remaster out yet? Any word on sound quality? I have the aforementioned original Japanese pressing on Island/ZTT which is quite good.

I still have my vinyl double album, not so sure if I get this CD collection.

Yes, it is... it was released in November 2003.

The remaster got an silver award (2nd place) from our AUDIO magazine for the best remastering in 2003. I better don' tell what was the golden award... :shh:

Interesting. Why can't ya tell us about the gold award? Is it controversial?

mmmm....thats funny, I was just thinking of this album last night while hearing "Relax" on the Throb collection from MusicSpace.

"Relax" sounds great on that collection as do all the other great 80's songs.

I need a good cd version of "Welcome To The Pleasurdome"
