watched things to come last night on the archive site.... so good.... and 86 years old.... does anyone know if the MASH movie is streaming anywhere?
Wasn't familiar with this. Watched it this afternoon on YouTube and enjoyed it. Thanks for posting it.
excellent also here is another source for free movies from down under... All Movies You have to join, there are some ads but it's not too bad but they are a pretty good choice of movies
Five on the Black Hand Side (1973, Oscar Williams) Older working class Black couple find themselves in a crisis while watching their children come into their own. Good cast. Not a bad script, either!
Saturday morning classic. Spider-Man '67 (1967, Stan Lee) Internet Archive Original cartoon series based on the web-slinging Marvel comic book character, Peter Parker, who, after being bit by a radioactive spider, assumes extraordinary powers.
School of Rock (2003, Richard Linklater) After being kicked out of his rock band, Dewey Finn becomes a substitute teacher of an uptight elementary private school, only to try and turn his class into a rock band. Didn't realize Linklater directed this one. Ignored it til today. Mostly amusing PG Rated fun. Helps if you dig Jack Black. Free on The Tube.
Iron Monkey (1993, Yuen Woo Ping) A martial artist/doctor steals from the corrupt authorities as a masked thief to give to the poor while another martial artist/doctor is forced to hunt him down. But a major threat unites them as a powerful and traitorous shaolin monk takes over the authorities. Iron Monkey features early wire work (pre-Matrix) from fight choreographer/director, Woo Ping. The interview above was filmed sometime in the 90s, during the height of his creative work. Great looking free version on Plutotv.
2046 (2004, Kar-Wai Wong) Several women enter a science fiction author's life over the course of a few years, after the author has lost the woman he considers his one true love. I still haven't watched In The Mood For Love, the film including the same main character which preceeded this one. But most feel that this is far more than simply a sequel. It is a classic in my book. And there's currently a great free streaming version on the Roku channel. Recommended.
JAWS The Quadrilogy All four films in the franchise are currently streaming free on tubi. The first, directed by Steven Spielberg, is a legit classic. The third is in 3D (can't wait to see how tubi is handling that). But it's a definite coup for the platform.
The Last Detail--Two Navy men are ordered to bring a young offender to prison, but decide to show him one last good time along the way.
