To me, season 8 has been dire....I no longer care who 'wins' the game. No plot, no drama, no dialog, just flash, bang, wallop.

Or, as a co-worker of mine told me yesterday, she tries to kill Tyrion with dragon fire, but... Tyrion is immune from the flames (the old "Tyrion is a Targaryen" theory - like how the dragons allowed him to remove their collars/touch them). This "attempt" would still be enough to get Jon to do her in, in her version...

Wouldn’t it be fitting if Tyrion, brother of the King Slayer, were to take out the Mad Queen? Jamie killed the Mad King. Tyrion kills the Mad Queen.

However, the big problem with killing Daenerys is Greyworm, the unsullied and the Dothraki. They are completely loyal to Daenerys. She has an entire army behind her. She will be very well protected, and if they do manage to kill her, her army will quickly retaliate.

That’s where Arya’s face-wearing abilities come into play. Arya assumes Dany’s identity and sits on the throne to keep her army from retaliating.

No idea at this point. Whatever does happen people aren’t going to like it.

Think Sopranos finale. A lot of whining at first, but gradually fans come to see the genius of it.

I am one of the few that liked “The Sopranos” finale. I liked that that it was fairly ambiguous.

Me too. And I predict we'll also like the finale of GoT! It may be even more ambiguous than the Sopranos ending.

I think that people are still expecting some big plot twist that isn't going to happen.

I've learnt with GOT not to believe someone has bit the dust unless you see it in no uncertain terms, all I saw happen to Cercie and Jamie was some rocks fall around them....... too easy by half.

I'm glad the bad panto villain with the boats and oversize crossbows finally got it, crikey that was a bad character/casting IMO

Anyway, my prediction is going to be that Jon and Dani face off, her dragon won't help so he gets away and whilst she presides over a destroyed Kings Landing he is.......King O The North.

(I do like the Tyrion theory though)

I was sort of hoping that would've been settled by now. And the final episode would tie up loose ends. With that not being decided yet... no way this is closing with a clean ending.

Was thinking the same, but saw that Cersei actress posted on ? [twitter, instagram] her farewell thoughts to Cersei, clearly (?) stating that was her demise...

I would be happy if Daenerys didn't die but just gave up her claim to the throne.

I've been reading too many spoilers and Entertainment Weekly articles I guess. Everyone seems to think she's not gonna make it.
