Ok didn't find a thread for the man so I thought I'd start it. Gary has to be one of the greatest guitarist I've ever heard. Post your favorite clips here.
Love his playing on the Andrew Lloyd Webber album with the Paganini Variations (Which by the way was a hug pain in the behind to find on CD)
I could be mistaken but I think we have waxed poetic about Gary here already in several threads. Or maybe some of that was Lizzy related threads. He is my favorite guitarist ever. I love his hard rock/metal period but don't like his blues stuff which I consider to be extremely tiresome & uninspiring. Such a shame what happened to him, dying so suddenly. He was in the process of recording a new ROCK album with Irish flavors that might have been one of his best from the little I've heard that they released on that recent live album.
