Not a rom com fan but I'm here for GM, good for fans to hear new song ( hope he would of wanted us to, though) and most importantly getting his music out to those who lost track of him,and those who never took notice, younger generations. All positive..

Andrew's book about Wham and GM will come out at about same time too. It is exciting. I will definitely buy the book as Andrew would offer more insights for sure, and he seems to be a good writer.

As to GM's unreleased music, I am cautiously optimistic.

Four songs, actually 5, from LWP vol. 1. Emma Thompson may be a fan of that album too.

Here is some info about the album from the article of Billboard:
"The 15-track album will be released on Nov. 8 on CD and digital platforms -- the same day the film hits theaters -- and will features songs written, arranged and produced by Michael, including "High," which was co-written and co-produced by the late singer and James Jackman.

"The wisdom and emotional scope of George’s lyrics have always amazed me. So many feel like they were written for the movie," said star Emma Thompson, who got involved with the project after Bafta-winning film producer David Livingstone (Judy) relayed his love of the Wham! classic "Last Christmas" to the actress."

    Who is James Jackman?

I can't see Too Funky or Fantasy but could just be they are out in a restaurant or club and they are background. I can't imagine those 2 Wham songs either, hope they aren't worked in in a hokey way.
Everything else I could see it. Wonder why they chose 2 versions of PFTime.
Great to see him getting a soundtrack though, get the music out there!

Is "This is how" the unreleased song for the movie? Sounds like a ballad to me .

I saw LC last night, anyone else see it?
The reviews weren't wrong but perhaps bit too hard on it. The main character and Thompson's are as one reviewer said cartoonish, don't resemble real people. Few good moments, liked the references to GM (couple of lead character's comments on him, posters on her wall) and most of all tons of his music throughout the film.
At times it felt squeezed in but welcome nonetheless. A woman near me was tapping her foot to Faith. :)
The end credits include the extended, explicit version of new song. Think they should of included a note saying this is a new one from GM, because they aren't going to get everyone to stay and hear it.
