You really have keep an eye on Amazon Canada.
I was watching a Thelonius Monk SACD recently..
It was just above $41CDN, them boom, it was $56.
I’ve recently grabbed MoFi SACDs in the low $30’s so deals are there but the do seem to be rarer.
I set a threshold in my mind, if it drops that far I buy knowing full well it will rise again, soon

Yeah, Tone Poets are generally sitting at about $50 and even the pre-order price on some BN80s was over $30 (higher than list). The latest TP pre-orders are $31.50, though, just as before, so I'm picking up most of those, and I grabbed Money Jungle and The Prisoner for $30 each a while back, but it's slim pickings, for sure.

MoFi Monk's Dream? :) I noticed that Monk SACD dropping but it never quite reached my trigger price. Easy to find for about 25 USD from AS or MD, next time I make an order.

I'm tempted by this one; $100 for an 8 LP set seems pretty good. I'm just not sure I'd listen to it enough to make it worth going for the vinyl.

West Coast (8lp Box Set) Seattle Boy : The Jimi Hendrix Anthology $100.35

This was under $50 somewhere about a month or two ago. I picked one up. I can't remember which site had it for
    that price.

It's tempting at that price, but the reviews I've read here make me wary.

I really don't understand Amazon Canada's fluctuating prices. I've found some good deals but once I order them, they've usually reverted back to a higher price. I haven't noticed this with Amazon US.

Agreed, no stability whatsoever on the deals.

I notice this a lot too, especially for some items that have less than 10 in stock. Once I order a copy - boom - the price skyrockets. Rarely do any prices stay constant on Amazon.ca. While this can at times be quite frustrating, it does occasionally result in great deals (if you have the patience to wait for a lower price, or are fortunate enough to luck into a sudden huge price drop)!

Yeah, i have hundreds of records added to my wishlist. sort by price often and you'll find some good deals. I miss being able to sort by price drop. They took that feature away a year or two ago.

I just leave them in my cart, saved for later, and everytime I open it up it shows the price changes, up and down. Lots of volatility, I think a lot of it is geared to exchange rates because the products are coming from outside of Canada. Once in awhile you open it and there's a nice price drop, but sometimes it is gone by the time I try to buy it seconds later.

I find that, in general, their prices on vinyl are not competitive with my local indie shops. So much for economies of scale.

I blame it on all the maple syrup that gets stuck on our keyboards. Sometimes the wrong buttons get pressed, resulting in the wrong prices getting listed.
