This had gone up to $24 today and change but I bit on it as I'm a sucker for vinyl box sets... and now it's up to $63.19!
the last few years around this time (usually starting around Black Friday) Amazon has temporarily lowered prices on some CDs that were released that year, usually like $6.99 or $7.99. last year i got the SZA and Lorde albums for $6 and $6.99. 2016 i got Bon Iver, Radiohead, and ATCQ albums for $6.99 each. got other deals in years before that. as i recall they're not organized in a certain section on the website, you just kinda have to find them (or get alerted to them, e.g., camel). it doesn't look like Amazon has done it this year though. i just wondered if anyone else has taken advantage of these deals in the past and/or noticed that Amazon has or hasn't appeared to have done it this year. there's always been something i wanted if i hadn't already bought it earlier in the year, don't want to miss out this year. thanks!
I've noticed nothing like that this holiday shopping period and I keep abreast of Amazon's CD prices on a regular basis. They barely discounted any CDs for Black Friday. I just don't think Amazon cares much anymore about CD customers.

i purchased this a few years back and just beware that it's pressed at united. i foolishly didn't even open mine until after the return window closed, and it was one of the most defective records ever. it actually had bits of shaved vinyl melted into the grooves on both sides. man that pressing plant stinks.
I purchased the Burrell and Coltrane sometime last year and I can confirm that this particular pressing is horible. No-fill, noise, and distortion all over the place. The LP was totally unlistenable. I returned it for credit.
