Looks like the 2010 Jonz (John Dent) Import

I've not heard this pressing, but the comments that I saw on Discogs were all very positive about the excellent sound quality.

Bloom You're embarrassing me in front of the wizards

    I have it- it's fine.

The source material is just not audiophile quality. It will always sound a little quiet. Just turn it up.

No excuse to not own this for less than $10

i did like what i heard, but for the life of me could not get a defect-free pressing. all (4!!) copies i got from amazon were REALLY warped and/or stuck into the sleeve and had paper permanently lodged into the vinyl. that's enough to convince me it wasn't just a coincidence.

Got around to listening to this tonight. Nice album, a little bit of background noise but may just be static even though I cleaned it. Performance is great and sound quality is pretty good. Majority of it is just piano or piano and bass. But for $10, it’s worth picking up if you like McCoy.

I just got Trident on cd last record store trip. This discussion got me to get into his later stuff. Or his seventies stuff. Have his all over stuff in the sixties but like this era too. A little gap in my collection. Now being obsessively filled. Kinda cooling it on the online lp Amazon Deep Discount stuff. Going now more for trips the store. Luckily lots around me. Gonna take my Berkley trip to two stores tomorrow. Limits what i get more. Too much online stuff is so easy, so , puttin the breaks on it. But, if it's something i'd die for which is a lot for me i'm on it. ;)

IMO its beyond the source material. I gave my copy of this away once I got the Holland import.

anything that uses the 2009 mov plates are superior including the recent standard Holland import release which you can get on sale in the $15 range fairly easy. Like you said there is no amazing version and never will be but the Holland repress is a clear upgrade over this version for sure. Just check out the discogs page for the two and it's pretty clear im not the only one seeing this.

That's annoying. I ordered one at £22. It was alerted via SuperDeluxEdition deals somaybe that's why it didn't stay low for long!
