A little update on this one for you... I ordered it, and it arrived in white plastic unpadded envelope. No cardboard, nothing. I set up a return, and requested a cardboard mailer. It arrived in a white plastic unpadded envelope. Chatted with customer service, requested they send it in a mailer, returned copy #2... and the replacement arrived in a white plastic unpadded envelope. Try #4... I'm returning the third copy for a refund, and I ordered the LP and paid a little extra for Gift packaging. This album seems to be out of print now... prices on Discogs are higher than they probably should be, and most other online retailers are out of stock. Crossing my fingers this one works.

So you're returning it just on principle because you don't like the way they shipped it? Or are you saying it got damaged in shipping. Because often, despite lousy packaging, things arrive just fine.
All copies were damaged. Yeah, I should have said that in my first post! Got interrupted and didn’t read before I hit Send.
Got it...Sad that they sent all copies the wrong way. I've had hideous experiences with Amazon on occasion (big heavy box set shipped with just a shipping label attached to the plastic seal), but in the cases where I did a return/rebuy, the second one always fixed the problem. BUT, and this is the thing, the CSRs at Amazon can't communicate with the warehouse, so if they're doing something wrong, and your next item ships from the same place, there's no assurance the problem will get fixed--it's luck of the draw.
Yup, I figured that out. Though the CSR that I chatted with assured me it would be shipped properly. All I can say right now is beware of the Warehouse deals of this album for @ $12!
