Grand Funk Railroad - Why no remastered/upgraded vinyl releases?

    I have all the GF albums through Good Singing. I even have the Terry Knight and the Pack album, Reflections.

    I love all of those albums, especially the first 4 albums!

    Any initials in the deadwax @featheredfiend ? Any clue of who may have cut it ? UPS is scheduled for Thursday. It'll be nice having a quiet copy again.

    Unfortunately there's almost no information provided with this release on the back of the album jacket or on the record label itself...here's all that I can tell you:

    Label: Indicates that the LP was manufactured in the EU in 2014
    Deadwax: Machine-stamped with the following on Side 1: "99124 1A MOVLP 1112" (Same thing in Side 2 except "1B" is substituted for "1A")

    However, I found a pretty cool article on the Music On Vinyl website that details their mastering process in case you're interested and haven't read it yet:
