Just ordered mine a few minutes ago with no issues, so it looks like they've cleared up whatever the issue was (at least for now). I used Firefox.

This is a great show, so glad to see it released but '77 could use a rest for a while. Of course I say that and wouldn't mind seeing 3/18/77 with At A Siding released...

I'm always hoping for more diversity though it does seem the case that when Dave goes out of his 70s comfort zone the results are usually disappointing. Dave's 20 (Boulder '81), 27 (Boise '83) and 31 (Chicago '79) are easily my three least favorite picks.

I guess I'd trade the sterling sq of many of the 70s shows for some really good 80s shows where the performance are special and song selections are unusual, even if the master sources are not exactly perfect. I realize many here disagree with this.

Totally disagree. 1977 is easily one of their best years ever.

You just got a nice big box of music that is well outside your dreaded 72-77 window and you're still not happy?

I'm plenty happy! And if someone forced me to choose only one era of GD to listen to for the rest of my life, it would be mid-seventies. I'm just at something of a 70s Dead saturation point (I can't be the only one, right?) and there are so many great 80s shows that are being neglected.

I do agree. I love the 1980 Dave's that is a matrix mix. I'd happily take a series of releases like that. There are so many criminally underrated years. I love the entire 30 year run. The narrow focus is a bit of a bummer.

I think, from now on, each year's third pick (the "wild card pick") for Davey's Picks will be from the '80s (with a possible '90s show on an even rarer occasion.)

Same here. So many Brent shows and Dave can't pick a good one? With Boise the problem was the tape not the show, but the other two had me gnashing my teeth in despair.
But even though I'm not happy with all his picks (and often disappointed), I'm a subscriber nonetheless. There are usually at least a couple good Picks a year.

  15. I certainly hope so. I’ll take as many 1980’s shows as possible!

I’ve been convinced since dick was st the helm that they intentionally release odd selections for the 80s onward for some strange reason

It's better for me if I choose the "enter your address annually" option. The auto search never seems to work.

Glad they started with 77 and will probably subscribe for the 5th time. I’ll take the 70’s as much as possible. I don’t dig the Brent midi crap.

  23. Yes for 2020. It’s how the label verifies that you received a product (screensaver download or some such) in fulfilling their merchant service agreement. Even though the rest of the order is technically pending.

They didn’t start using midi until 89, Brent a little earlier
