On the listening party, could the June 10 Looks Like Rain be any slower.... Not what I would picked to highlight for this show.
I’ll be ordering this when I get home. It’s not The Ark box I was hoping for but it’s still pretty damn exciting!
Hence another reason to go the hi-res route. Though a few years ago people ordering hi-res got a link for the 16 bit and vice versa.
Artwork is pretty sweet...I picked up the print as well. Should frame up nicely....Turning out to be an expensive day for me.
I sent a message to Customer Service asking why I had to pay tax as an international customer. Is there any legitimate reason for charging taxes on Int'l transactions?

The Betty Boards (not sure if they circulate for all 5 shows but I think they do) sound amazing as it is. As far as the music, I don't listen to this year too much but what I have is pretty awesome. 7/18/76 is particularly awesome. I think many feel that with 2 drummers aboard again it was a little harder to turn corners. But when it is good it is very good. Small theaters too. The Beacon had some gate crashing, there are some stories floating around on internet.
The best deals I've found are here. I haven't checked SHF classifieds. though. Grateful Dead* - Road Trips Vol. 4 No. 5: Boston Music Hall 6•9•76 (All Versions) For Sale at Discogs Marketplace
I'm going to buy this one, haven't decided yet if it's going to be CDs or the download. I'll wait for more details about the packaging, if it's more like July 1978 than Pacific Northwest or May 77 Get Shown The Light I'll go for CDs. But I don't want another way too large box on my shelf.
My dilemma as well. I am running out of room, and have purchased all previous GD boxes. The NW, the two Springs take up a lot of room, and are cumbersome when I want to listen to them. I have purchased the downloads of Dylan's bootleg 12,13,14 for space issues. Resale of GD boxes will be my wife/kids problem. I cannot see selling any.
I'm ordering it. 1976 isn't my favorite year but I can't say no to these box sets. plus the preview tracks sound great
