Grateful Dead Workingman's Dead 50th Anniversary deluxe?

I took a look at it the other day, It's Workingman's that's upside down, and AB is normal.

Workingman's is Palm trees, (so sometime between mid 73 and 78) but AB has a white label (78-82?)

 

I have a Canadian press of Workingman's Dead with the WB Olive label...
Back cover is right-side up...

Is listed here too: 16 bit 44.1 which is indicative of CD and the source is Grateful Dead/Rhino. Can’t seem to find anything else to provide clarity.

*the earliest couple Dire Wolf attempts are a lot faster, gets progressively slower. Wish there was a fast take with vocals, but not complaining!

 

So then what the heck is this if it’s not a copyright dump and only available to stream (at this point)? I guess I’ll be going to the link I posted above and pay to d/l the FLAC file. Would someone be about to help me with the process of burning to CD?

I don’t know why they couldn’t have made the Anniversary edition a 5 disc set and included this as well.

The 3-disc 50th set was definitely underwhelming, so this is certainly a pleasant surprise. Perhaps they didn’t want to memorialize these run-throughs and out-takes on the retail set but release them digital only, for the faithful.

Only other thing I can think of is that there is a physical 1970 sessions set later this year and this is part 1 that has been released digitally. Basically what the Bowie camp has started doing with his archival releases.
