It may be The High Road but I don't think it was released in the US

I'm sure it's like you say, but my resources are finite, so, whenever I can, I have to go for the cheap way out, as long as it's an acceptable one.

I don't really differentiate on a Country basis, I get them wherever I can. You might say the world is my oyster, in that regard :D

The Dio era Black Sabbath/Blue Oyster Cult live program "Black and Blue" never made it past Japanese Laserdisc.

Although I saw what may have been a gray area release of the 1982 Ozzy Osbourne "Speak Of The Devil" Irvine Meadows concert with Brad Gillis on guitar, I really don't think it has ever been officially released past Japan-only VHS and Laserdisc. Same with the 1984 Ozzy concert "Bark At The Moon."

    Others include:

Ministry "In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up (Live)"
    Motorhead "The Birthday Party"
    Big Country "Live"
Gary Moore "Emerald Isles Live In Ireland"
Gary Moore "An Evening With The Blues"
    Gary Moore "Live Blues"
    Gary Moore "Ballads And Blues"
Les Paul "Les Paul And Friends"
    Yngwie Malmsteen "Live In Tokyo
    Yngwie Malmsteen "Live At Bukokan"
    Yngwie Malmsteen "Trial By Fire"
    Yngwie Malmsteen "The Collection"
    Alcatrazz "Metallic Live '84"
    Girlschool "Play Dirty Live"
    Starz "Hear N' Aid"
    Saxon "Live Innocence"
    Accept "Staying A Life"
Allan Holdsworth "In Japan, Tokyo Dream"
    Super Rock '84 "In Japan"
    The Ronnie Lane Arms Concert
    Vandenberg "Live"

Man... I was SO sure I had this on DVD, I had to go and check it out. Well, you're right. I have 10 Big Country gigs on DVD, plus the beautiful DVD from the BBC boxset, but this one's not one of them.
I had it on VHS, it was actually my first Big Country video ever. Why hasn't it been released? This one's bugging me, I guess I'll get it on LD and have it ripped too :D

Prince's "Lovesexy" 1988 show was available on LD outside of the US.

Never owned one - wish I had! :sigh:

I believe the VHS version was included on the Just Looking DVD compilation which was missing a few songs included on the laser disc.

This one's been released on DVD: "Scenes from the big chair", there's a documentary together with the "Going to California" concert.

I have this on LD and it is...and it isn't. It's a great show with some stellar performances and nice camerawork. On the LD and VHS it was cropped to 4:3 though. If it ever gets released on DVD or Blu-ray we should see it the way it was composed to be.

Yes it was. On VHS, Betamax, LaserDisc and DVD.

Unless it was shot on film, it was probably shot in 4 by 3 aspect ratio. Did I ever show in the theater?

Still waiting for Nico's 'Velvet Memories' to come out on DVD. The audio from the show made it to CD, but that's all so far.

And Lou Reed's 'Live In Jersey' Some tasty Robert Quine work on that one.

The Cars live 1984 Japanese LD will cost you about $200.

Benatar Live made it to DVD but lost a song or two.

  24. Ooops.

Wasn't sure about one of the concerts in the Original Post, but it looks like it was "unauthorized" after a bit more research.

    Carry on....

David Gilmour live 1984 was VHS. He never played those solo songs after the mid 80's.
