There are two TV programs that I miss the most that I don't ever see as reruns. Green Acres and Dinosaurs (Not the mama!). :(

Well, both are available on DVD in their complete series runs so you could get those and watch them any time. :)

Green Acres appears regularly on one of the retro tv channels--MeTV, TVland, or Antenna????

I'm almost through with season 6 and now I'm saddened and pissed there's no more. Stupid CBS.

I'm surprised it actually got as long of a run as it did, all things considered.

A show being great or terrible often has little or nothing to do with how long it survives.

It was a Top 10 or 2o show throughout it's run so there should really be no surprise that it ran as long as it did. If CBS hadn't decided to cancel all it's rural shows, it probably would have gone on a few more seasons. They wouldn't dare do that in the current TV landscape.

Here's Eddie & Eva as the mystery guests on What's My Line. Skip to around the 19:30 mark for their segment. I'd forgotten John Daly played a part in the beginning of the series' run.

"Green Acres" once aired on TV-Land, but that was last century... It seems all they air now are "Roseanne" and "Everybody Love Raymond" repeats (or it was that way the last time I checked to see what they are/were airing).

And it's still a great show for those who "get it" ;)

I can't believe there are actually people who believe the urban legend that on the last day of filming, the cast and crew ate Arnold.

Well, it's one of those things that sounds like it could maybe be plausible if you don't know that multiple pigs were used.

I have both, haven't checked everything but the 3rd season doesn't seem any different as far as picture quality goes and that is just fine.
