Okay, unbow your heads. Some punky, thrashy rockin. Darkthrone obliterated on caffeine? Hey, I noticed on the main music page here that Grrrrr has "Views: 251,067". That's a quarter million!
If you like Blood Incantation, make sure to check out Cryptic Shift: Visitations From Enceladus, by Cryptic Shift WITE is fantastic. Do not miss them live if you get the chance. Fun fact: their singer is a smoke jumper so they generally don't do many shows in the summer during fire season.
Not Scooby's Mystery Machine! Reminds me of my fantasy about another animated "Heavy Metal" movie. It's impossible to not turn it up. "Blacked out is part 1 of 8 from 'The Red Experiment' movie" "The album is about the worst year known to mankind in recent history, the year 2020. Being born and raised in war torn Beirut, 2020 was especially difficult as COVID19 was the least of our concerns. While the first track discusses different world problems that influenced the series of unfortunate events that led to the eruptive 2020 events."
Love the opening of this song, such classicism. Got to check this album out. Future Usurper, by Crypt Crawler
Not being a "hardcore" fan the bulk of this song offers little for me but the not-core first two and a half minutes are very enjoyable. Love the lead guitar. The drumming is catchy. The album comes out July 31 and interestingly the bandcamp has 45 second to one minute long samples for each song ('cept the vid). It's certainly enough to know if it's for you. I hear more prog than 'core and therefore I'm interested. 'The Elysian Void' (2021) (pre-order)(released: 31/07/2021), by Anakim This is the single song avail at bandcamp. Happy to see another simple yet styling lyric vid. Stylistically, lyric videos can be dire.
More Death Tribe. I listened to the whole album and when they choose to rock out they do it very well. TIDAL
Getting my money's worth out of that EP I bought and it's grown on me. As for the production, during the intro for this song I was hearing world class sub-bass and soundstaging. I pulled off the headphones and heard a helicopter passing low overhead.
Thanks to NCS' Shades of Black for this slab of crawling evil. Beware of the low-fi. Ordinarily I'm allergic to low-fi but I find the music interesting enough to ignore the sonic malnourishment. Akra Tapeinosis, by SERPENTRANCE
^^^^Metal Santa showing the drastic effects of climate change on the North Pole! I read his autobio earlier this year, what a life!
Oh I do want to read that. The 70's run of albums are desert isle for me. What's the name of the book? I just looked on Amazon and is it called "Confess: The Autobiography"?
Avant-garde metal band Death Tribe release the full 36 minute animated movie that corresponds to the album. Beyond the Red Light District: A Canal Experiment, by Death Tribe
It wasn't as in depth as I'd hoped it would be about Priest, it's about 50% priest and 50% about his personal relationships/sex life.
