can anyone confirm, if I buy the U.K. version, will the music be original/uncut? My US season 2 is over the top cut Is the US Season 3 pretty much intact re music?
CBS/Viacom (the owners of the show) are cheap bastids. So my guess is that all the home video copies will have music replacements and deletions. Different rules apply to syndication/streaming, so the music could very well be intact on those venues.
The Season 2 UK (region 2) release has altered opening music (replacing Rock Around The Clock with the later Happy Days theme), but IIRC, most of the original music remains intact. I also seem to recall the episodes run a bit fast due to them being at 25 fps. As for season 3, I don’t recall much about it. Perhaps the Amazon reviews could clue you in as to any music replacements.
