Help Adjusting Rega Planar 1 (2016) Anti-Skate

KT88 I appreciate your posts. I and many with my experience seem to have a different experience than you. It's all good.

 

It really was a lucky dip this idea - worked great for some not for others - Guess it all depending what day yours was made - I ended up removing the antiskate on my P2 no more problems - glad to see they have added the antiskate on new models

 

Rega makes some strange engineering decisions (foam plinths, platter height too high relative to tonearm on P3, etc.). This is one of them. They should just admit it was a bad idea fixing the bias and put an adjustable slider back in like they did with the P2. Or they can keep losing sales.
