Hitachi HT-460 turntable, any good?

    I've decided against buying a new, budgt turntable and go for something better but used. When browsing Ebay I came across this. Is it any good? It's going for about $50 and I may jump on it depening on what reviews I can find.

    I'd ask if the stylus needs replacement. Could cost you another $50.00 or more!

    I'd imagine it's your average '70's to mid '80's TT. Direct dirve so there are no belts to wear out but there would be more 'rumble' because of that fact.

    Sorry I can't be of more help. It's probably a pretty good TT to start out with.

    Although a Rega is much more money, it's probably worth the extra cost if you have the cash.
