There is this one from 1993:

    [discogs]
Kenny & The Kasuals - Things Gettin' Better / Nothing Better To Do

There is a seller in UK listing a new, sealed copy for sale for 45 dollars right now. That's the only problem for me,
my other requirement when buying from third-party sellers besides *new-sealed only* is that they ship from either U.S. or Canada only. So, some other lucky soul will be getting that copy. I haven't heard that one before, but I have some EVA label comps and they are needledrops on par with Pebbles and Sixties Rebellion series comps as far as SQ.

I haven't heard that 2-cd Eva comp either. It's a great collection and picks up almost everything. I would expect sound quality to be on par with the Eva vinyl versions which are needledrops in varying degrees of sound quality. Until there's a definitive comp from masters, you'll have to settle for stuff like this unless you want to seek out Teen Dreams and the original 45's. I'm surprised a label like Big Beat doesn't do a deluxe Kasuals comp since they have done some excellent quality reissues of other Texas bands like Zakary Thaks and the Don't Be Bad comp

Well, my son got married in downtown LA on 10/12/2019. His friend's cover band played rock from the 60's, 70's and 80's and everybody danced - they were great. Then a DJ took over and played mainly what I guess is standard R & B / Hip-Hop type dance music and mainly the younger crowd was dancing. In the middle of this my son got him to play " Sukiyaki" Ueo Muite by Kyu Sakamoto. Definitely a cool moment. (Bride and groom are Japanese-American.)

"Here is Happiness" by Rene and Akemi Paulo (from Hawaii).

This was the song for the mother- son dance.

    Forgotten?

Terrie and the Carlas, never really existed. But I love t
    this.

If you can find this album you'll want a player that can turn at 78rpm and you'll need a steel needle and mica diaphragm pick up.

Great 60s instrumentals like "Stranger on the Shore" by Acker Bilk.
Really takes me back to my childhood and listening on my transistor radio.

    Another great 60's instrumental.
Also a candidate for gnarliest guitar tone (pre-British invasion).

Hands of the Clock - Heather MacRae

Forgotten psychedelic gem written and produced by Craig Smith (of Salesman by The Monkees fame), with backing by the Penny Arkade. Heather herself was the daughter of actor/singer Gordon MacRae (Oklahoma), and sister of Meredith (Petticoat Junction)

Who Will Answer? By Ed Ames made it to #19 on the Billboard charts, but most of my contemporaries don’t remember it.

I'm a huge Harpers Bizarre fan. They are the ultimate "sunshine pop" group. This is one of their greatest songs I think.
