"I'm Dying Up Here" (Showtime series)

    LOVED this show. Frustrating that shows like this and Vinyl didn’t get renewed

    Just finished S2, pretty dark ending with Ron lying alone in his roller skating rink, foaming at the mouth from an overdose or bad drug. But I really liked the show and would have liked to see another season. I'm sure it just didn't pull the numbers Showtime wanted. Many probably came to it looking for a comedy, and its instead a drama about comedy. Like Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip, which had a similar problem. A bigger audience went for the straight comedy 30 Rock instead.

    I thought Brad Garrett was a real nice addition in the second season. And it was cool to see Maggie (Ginger Gonzaga) return for the one episode/Fitzy's wake. She was always a fun character in S1.
