I'm in real need of a new, 'excellent sounding'... combo boombox / CD player. Preferably with woofers & tweets. But even just 2 speakers is fine if it sounds really good. 'Regular '70s old fashioned Boombox size' is best... but open for offers. :) You know... portable. Don't really desire the 'Ghetto Blaster' large size... too big.

Price range: $150 to $350, or so.

Anyone know of a 'good sounding quality' CD Boombox being sold now-a-days???

    Most appreciated! Thanks!!

    SONY Personal Audio System ZS-BTG900.

Full bass sound and BLUETOOTH device playback capability.

    Price: $179.

That's all I got. Hopefully others in-the-know will have additional recommendations for you. Happy hunting and may you find the beast you are seeking!

Yes, we're enjoying it in this neck of the woods.

To have decent audio while camping was the primary reason I commenced the search to find it.

The unit's presently situated in our living room and has become our go-to source for tunes.

My significant ostrich --- who's got good ears but isn't necessarily audiophile material :) --- seems to especially enjoy playing the new Sony.

Bottom line = this portable is a clean machine which delivers clean, dynamic sound.

A mighty fine value that'll give you plenty of bang for your buck.
