Just an update on IN THE WIND. It was edited by Stephen Marsh and shipped to Gus for final DSD / SACD authoring 3 weeks ago along with Eric Clapton's Behind the Sun and Journeyman.

    So it's happening.

So Clapton's Journeyman is coming to AF SACD as well? Didn't notice that up until now. Not my favourite Clapton, but I will surely give it a listen. What about Money And Cigarettes on AF?

    It's too soon to say.

Is it soon enough to say now? :D

SH said "In the Wind" was sent to Gus for final DSD / SACD authoring around February 14th, along with Eric Clapton's Behind the Sun and Journeyman.

I received "Behind the Sun" around March 29th, and "Journeyman" is due to ship on May 6th, but I can't even find a pre-order for "In the Wind".

    Wot's... Uh the Deal?

Maybe those Time-Life comps have moved PP&L to the back burner.

    Line-jumpers... I hadn't thought of that... :wantsome:

My world is big enough for all three, the two Time-Life comps and PP&M :D

I recognise your anxiety. In the UK if you don't slap a preorder on at the first time of asking, the price can double or worse. Ever since I listened to the eponymous album, this one has been a definite purchase.

I didn't know it was like that in the UK. Even with international shipping, it might be cheaper in some cases to order from a U.S. or Canadian website (music dealer like ImportCDs or Amazon) where there's no shortage and prices are stable or even drop lower than on release day.

I was more concerned that the delay had something to do with Murphy's Law.

Strange that this one isn't available for pre-order from amazon.com.

Just a recap - 1st PPM from AF from the time it was mastered to the time it was released took months and months and months.

Speculating that this is a repeat performance due to some hold up in the final approval chain with this artists catalog.

Please don't let it turn out that Neil Young is somehow involved...

Just the howling winds of the barren wastelands that blow the aforementioned tumbleweeds...

But is the answer blowing in the aforementioned wind? :D

Indeed it is, at least according to Bobby - but the real question is, if an answer is blowing in the wind and there's no one around to hear it, does it really make a sound?

Either the wind OR the answer (blowing in the aforementioned wind)?

    :D

Can't believe I just saw this and can't believe it's happening. I bought a mono copy of this LP back in 63 and must have listened to it every night for two years. Not a bad song on the LP. Peter, Paul, and Mary was my first concert. My parents took me when I was 9 years old. The Beatles? I thought they were for teenyboppers! THIS was the stuff, man, and it turned me on to Dylan. I cannot wait to receive this, especially as I have never heard the stereo version.

THANK YOU AF AND STEVE HOFFMAN!!!!!!
