is cheap-cds.com still in business?

Same here. They were down for about a week last year but came back with an updated website. The bad thing is that no one can reach them via telephone either.

 

I read on the ICE board that it is their annual vacation.

 

I tried today with no luck, so I went and bought at AllDirect.com. I ordered G. Harrison "All Things Must Pass" and Ten Years After "SSSH".

 

I smell trouble. Here is the toll-free number 1-888-549-8800; for those who want to keep trying. I just received a shipment from them (the new Eric Records 'Hard To Find' series) about ten days ago, and saved the invoice in case there was a problem. One thing I will give them, even though they were a trite bit more expensive than DDCD; was they were very FAST in getting the product to you. I hope they haven't gone by the wayside.

 

They notified me that How the West Was Won had shipped last Friday, I believe. I hope they're not OOB. They have the fastest shipping time to Perth (9 days compared with 3 weeks anywhere else) I've had excellent service from them in the past.

 

Shipping times from the US are certainly pot luck. Some ebay sellers have got CDs to me in 4 to 5 days. Other times, 2 to 3 weeks.

It slowed down noticeably after 9/11 but has recovered again.

 

.....and the CD set arrived today - that's 7 days to Australia!! Sounds good so far.
