Well, six pages in and half of my record collection has been mentioned.

    Oh well. I’ll still listen.

I don't listen to music on the radio so if I get tired of something it's my own fault!

You end up with a unique piece of visual art that is much more impressive than the musical art contained within!:D

However, "Take It to the Limit" would my best (worst?) nomination for the overexposed Eagles song (there are many, many to choose from) most likely to drive me to plunge icepicks into my ears.

If I NEVER hear "Sweet Home Alabama" again it will be too soon. Kid Rock's "Alabama"/"Werewolves" mashup is even worse, but it's the original version that gets so much heavy rotation on Classic Rock Radio.

Those DJ's that have their personal "jingle" is probably the worst thing in the world. This would have me punching my dashboard on the way home, so quick to change the channel...

This guy lost his slot on Radio 2, to be replaced by someone equally as annoying, with, guess what, their own personal "jingle".

Agree! Not only do I not care for that slow, plodding 3/4 groove, but after singing "Take it to the limit one more time", they proceed to take it there about 12 more times.

My personal jingle would get me banned from here for a week.

Interesting fact: “Lyin’ Eyes” and “Peaceful Easy Feeling” are never played in Hell. Satan figures even the damned souls there deserve better.

Big Zep fan for nearly 40 years, but like others here, Stairway isn’t something I will actively listen to anymore. In contrast, I think Whole Lotta Love is a wonderous thing.

OK, I think we have to distinguish between great songs that we just got tired of listening to and songs that were crap right out of the gate.
If this is a list of crap songs that we wish we never heard the first time around, where to begin.....

Any Nirvana song...especially Smells Like Teen Spirit. Nirvana gets the crap played out of them on Boston Radio.

There's a talk radio guy in Melbourne who plats Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong when he wins the ratings. I'm sure that's not the original sentiment of the song.
