A girl friend of mine told me this earlier today. I was surprised to hear it given that I didn't see any mention of it here. I did a search on the forum and nothing turned up? So I found this link to a Rolling Stone article from March 24th which seems to confirm the news Jackson Browne Tests Positive for Coronavirus

He blames a trip to New York for an event at which he played. Wow, this virus is raging through the United States at an alarming rate ... and of course here in Europe too. If somebody has previously posted about this, Gorts please delete my post.

Before it's deleted, just telling you he has a mild form of it...at least, that's what I read earlier. Hopefully it'll stay that way throughout its' duration and he'll be okay.

I remember seeing that he did have it. Hopefully he has recovered.

Well 'blame' is the word I used. If you read the Rolling Stone interview I believe that he thinks he may have caught it as a result of flying to an event in New York. Jackson doesn't know for sure how or where he picked it up. Happily though, it seems that he has a mild form of Covid 19.

Wow, hope he doesn’t die like the Fountains of Wayne guy. This might be the start of MANY obituaries.

Is it really a “mild” form or is his immune system better?

As far as I’ve heard it may seem “mild”...

Then, unfortunately, that can change drastically, depending upon the individual.

What is so scary is the seeming randomness of the virus.
I know there are plenty of variables but person “A” gets the virus and reports mild symptoms, person “B” is dead from it in a few days.

    Here’s hoping Jackson is a person “A”.

The majority of people are either asymptomatic or have mild symptoms and it's very likely those people will go undetected, so the overall death rate is lower than the figures would suggest.

Nonetheless it's clearly very scary that anyone, even if they're young and healthy, could die from it.

He was in New York for the "Love Rocks NYC" benefit on March 12th. This was before the #### hit the fan.

Hindsight is 20/20. March 12th was the day that the NCAA canceled their basketball tournaments. The NHL didn't postpone their season until the following day. We were still several days away from any travel advisories.

It's his hair. I'm sorry I have to lean towards a bit of "attempted" humor now and again... it's all we have here in NY. I'm trying like hell to retain my sanity... and humanity.
