That Pearl Jam question was strange. That song is a deep cut. It wasn't a single and it's from the album No Code which isn't one of their more popular records. I was an enormous PJ fan for many years and I even had to think about that one for a second
The main clue was an album titled No Code being mentioned in the clue, but even the album title is a deep cut for most.
Yes, she’s certainly had a couple of lucky wins, but she also has a better understanding of wagering strategy than most Jeopardy! contestants, and that doesn’t hurt.
The woman in the middle started off so strong and looked like she was going to dominate, but then she just crashed and burned. Had she not wagered the $8,000+ on the Daily Double, she may have won. As it is, she still almost won with just $400. Good game last night. I don't see the current champion lasting too long in the Tournament of Champions.
Mayim was certainly favoring her. For most contestants, if they run out of time, Mayim usually just sez coldly, "That's time.", but for Ketty she gave an apologetic "Sorry. That's time."
Anyone know what the lowest winning total in show history is? Gotta be someone who won with like $1 at some point, right?
Yeah, Megan really pulled off another close call on Tuesday night's game. I'm sure there have been others throughout the history of the game, but in recent memory, she seems to be one of the multi day champions that win with pretty modest amounts... While it's true slow 'n steady wins the race, she's gotta get a little fire in her playing.
I, as many on this forum would have, got that one in an instant. Final Jeopardy: This classic album by a Southern rocker gets its title from a Civil War quote by a Union admiral What is: Damn The Torpedoes
Who would know this on a casual trivial basis really besides the fools on this forum? I knew none of the three of them would know the answer as soon as it was revealed.
Not only that, my niece and some of my family attended the Wellesley College graduation ceremony in 1996 that Nora Ephron spoke at that was the basis of one of the questions last night.
