Oops. You're right of course. No $$$ for this tournament. That website had the dollar signs so I included them in my post.

Sam Buttrey won the Professor’s Tournament in 2021, and finished third behind Amy and Andrew in the most recent Tournament Of Champions, so I think he earned a spot in the Masters Tournament.

I agree he earned his spot. Plus he can be animated at times. They seem to want this tournament to be entertaining as well as a true "battle of masters" and it was worked out well. I'm enjoying it a lot.

I've gotta wonder how much Ken and his approach to hosting, not to mention the fact that he's a game master himself, has to do with all the good-natured bantering going on. Can't imagine this happening with Alex.

They really should have known Chattahoochee last night. That's one of the many country songs I can sing along to easily.

Did anybody notice on the clue involving the famous Western suit creator Nudie that they used a picture of Gram Parsons?

I felt bad for Amy, too as she came in 2nd five times but due to point assignment, still came up short but I still chuckled when she mentioned it.

As cool as it would have been for them to use a picture of Nez, they really should have used a picture of Porter Wagoner, who to me, was the King of the Nudie suit.

I was/am surprised at how careless James was with a couple of those final Jeopardy! clues...

The last show didn't matter. He had it wrapped up and it was only points not money.

I wonder whether the Jennings-Holzhauer rematch will ever come to pass?

Who would the third player be?

Andrew Chen would make sense but probably Amy Schneider.

Ben sure had an off night on Friday- I was starting to think he'd really go down dollar-wise and the player in the middle would overtake him.

I read the article you posted here: While I like some of what he's saying, I think a lot of what he said is/will be unnecessary. Breaking everything down as though it's sports seems a bit overkill... How fast were the players on the draw, how many times did they try to buzz in, etc. just doesn't seem like it'd add anything to the game.
