$31.20 shipped to me from AmazonUK!

    :uhhuh:

  4. When did you pre-order? My price is $35.41 shipped.

Yeah, not sure what to make of Amazon's search engine these days. I have found you make out better if you use Google. Just include the word Amazon in the search term and that usually works much better than going directly to Amazon.

Probably got a good early preorder price. I just checked and it's about $38 for me as of this morning. But the price could drop again, you never know.

Just did it last night. The total was 23.07 british pounds, the currency converter I used put it at $31.20 at that time.

IA has posted a 2015 news update on the official site. However, he discusses past memers of the band and the forthcomming orchestral work. A pitty that there is not a word on Jethro Tull future archive releases.

Check the high-res pic from SFTW sessions. I'm thinking this is from forthcoming 40th remix

They´ve been circulating for a while now. Let´s give Steven Wilson a break and let him do SFTW for 2017.

I am sorry to report they are no current plans for further Tull remixes after Minstrel, at the moment.

Hard to believe that "Stand Up" has not been done before some of these later, inferior IMO, albums.

It is predictable. We have been very very lucky to have IA reissue the Tull catalogue in deluxe format. We have been treated with no less 11 archive releases including DVDs in the last 7-8 years, most of which have been truly spectacular. All I have to say is thank you to IA and all the people involved.

2008: This was 40th collectors edition; Jack in the Green DVD
    2009: MSG 78 DVD
    2010: Stand Up
    2011: Aqualung 40th special edition
    2012; TAAB 40th
2013; Benefit collector edition; Around the World DVD
2014: APP extended performance; Warchild Theatre edition
2015: MITG 40th la grande edtion

Let the wailing and gnashing of teeth commence! We had a good run with these and Wilson is a busy guy. Personally, my interest drops off quickly at this point anyway. . . :hide:

Multitracks of Stand Up may be lost.

Good run, true. I would be interested in hearing how Wilson/Anderson and/or label arrived at the choices i.e. Passion Play over Songs From the Wood/Heavy Horses or what have you. Personally, I would love to see the latter two get the treatment but perhaps it's not to be.

Steven Wilson is not required until 2016 for Too Old To. 2017 for Songs From the Wood. Call me a dreamer, I know I'm not the only one. I hope the 1970's albums can all be remixed to 5.1.
I also consider (1969) Stand Up to be Tull's best album. Stand Up in 5.1 would be welcome. I'm happy with the MFSL CD for stereo.

    Dream!

    Concerning Steven Wilson:
IA: ... Well, Songs from the Wood would be the one I would probably throw at him and say, “Oh, why don’t you have a go at this one?”

Ian has said that when Steven Wilson has lost enthusiasm, Jakko will fill in, and that he would like to continue the project at least to the end of his '70s output.

Please tell me you're not serious. That would be most unwelcome news.

I am sure that if La Grande Edition sells well, next year will bring more news. If Steven Wilson is unavailable, Jakko Jaksyk would pick up the torch.
