¿Why is the US Mix sourced from vinyl?

It's the 1968 UK stereo mix that is sourced from vinyl and that's because no tape survives.

    My Sunday feeling
    Move on alone
    Beggars farm
    Blues for the 18th
    Dharma for one
    Christmas song
    Love story
    It’s breaking me up
One for John Gee(lots of bass)
    Song for Jeffrey
    Cats squirrel
    Round

I may swap cat for cuckoo though. Track list is Less blues and more Tull

I saw Rhino released Aqualung again in the book format on November the 30th, it shows it on there web site under releases, just thought it was interesting.

    I would say so!
Would getting this SW 2018 version be the best way to experience it? Or is that not a fair question?
    Thank you.

My OCD would kick in big time if I didn't buy Benefit in book form even though I have it.

Seems like TAAB would be an obvious do over

Personally I would say so, it's the first time the instruments have such a realistic tone and are put in a realistic sonic landscape.

I just bought this on Amazon for this great price. I've never heard the album, hardly even know any Tull except for the radio 'hits' but for this price, and especially for a Wilson production, I'm willing to give it a shot. Cheers!

I was just looking at the books from the four Bowie boxes. Some covers are glossed, some not. :D

Hmmm. I've been passing on this one as it is not my favorite Tull and I am happy with the 40th anniversary edition, but the low price on Amazon is making this very hard to pass up. (And there is a 10% coupon now.)

    I couldn't pass this up for essentially $6.50 a disc.....

Thank you very much because I really wasn't going to get this. Now I am psyched.........:goodie:

If you really like this album, get all versions!

I have identified 11 versions of Pink Floyd DSOFTM in my collection. For whatever reason, I always end up with another one. Funny enough, it ain’t my favorite from them!

I would too. Not even a question.

I missed Songs from the Wood and now I can't find new at SRP. Ugh.

And of course, we gotta have a reissue of TAAB. I passed on the poorly mastered.
