I liked the first couple but this one ran out of steam for me during the last half. I tried over two nights to watch it but I fell asleep both times so I don’t have a burning desire to finish it.

I agree although I finished it. I loved it in the theater and I still dig the first half the rest just drags. The fight scene at the end just goes on and on and not in a cool They Live kind of way either.

I picked up a 4k digital copy - it's a blast! They could make another 3+ as far as I'm concerned. I can't believe Keanu Reeves is 55! I hope I look that good when I'm that age.

I thought this one dragged a bit. There were some neat parts to it, but much of it was pretty boring. I know Reeves does most of his own stunt work and he’s to be commended for that, but in some of the fight scenes he looks very slow and not agile at all.

Thought this was the best one out of all the JW movies.. though I still want to see the original pencil fight which put his name to legendary status

i just watched this the other night and i agree. the knife fight at the beginning was fun and over-the-top, but the last 30 minutes just dragged on and lacked any real energy. i was disappointed overall.

i wonder what they could do with some more talented writers at the helm. people love these movies, and i like the idea of these movies, but none have truly lived up to the hype imo.

May 21, 2021. Which going forth will be known as "Keanu Reeves Day", as Matrix 4 will apparently open the same weekend. The years I've worked in theatrical marketing make me think that this would a strange move if actually executed, but I guess we'll see. It makes for great social media buzz.

Didn’t pick up the Blu Ray steelbook of JW3....now that’s a indication what I thought of the film.

I loved it. Would have payed the $17.99 PPV price at a hotel and been very satisfied. Spectacular fight scenes!

Last I'd heard, 4 and 5 will be shot back-to-back (a la Lord Of The Rings, for instance). Keanu is the new Stallone and Wick is the new Rambo, apparently.

Finally got the JW3 this weekend and it's...not great.
There are good parts, like the stuff in and around Casablanca. But by the time we get back to The Continental things just get silly, and we don't need silly in these movies.
