I also hope it's better than her last album... I still would love her to do a belated follow-up to "Impossible Princess", again working with interesting collaborators.

That would be great! It was the album that made me a fan. I'm still amazed at how poorly it did at the time. At least its status has risen since.

Kylie tweeted earlier that the world exclusive first play of Dancing will be tomorrow, 8 am UK time, on BBC Radio 2. BBC - Radio 2 - Home

Reportedly the song was illegally leaked earlier in the week.

    Album supposedly out 6th April.

Dancing is alleged to gave a country feel. A review I’ve read describes it as ‘like Dolly Parton at her poppiest’

Looking forward to hearing it. Hope it’s better than the recent dud lead singles by Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake!

She turns fifty (!!!) in May - I would love if this album (metaphorically) destroyed all pretenders to the crown and re-established her as the Queen of Pop.
She's been through a rough time the last years, but she has more to offer. If there is any justice, 2018 ought to be The Year of Kylie!
Did Phil Collins write the track listing for this?!

Well thankfully the titles sure sound more promising than "Sexy Love", "Sexercize" and "Les Sex" from the last wretched album...

I liked about half of Kiss Me Once, but the songs mentioned earlier in the thread didn’t do her-or us-any favours.:)

It was a shame as it followed one of her best albums, Aphrodite.

No thank you. I love Kylie because normally she makes pop music that’s distinctive and memorable. I can’t distinguish this from any country-tinged song I might hear on the radio. Dolly Parton this ain’t.

I don’t dislike it, but it’s not much of a song. Doesn’t sound like a lead single.

Then again, Kylie’s days as a major singles artist are over, so I don’t suppose it matters too much.

Still looking forward to the album.

IMPOSSIBLE PRINCESS was a killer album, squashed because its' release coincided with the sad departure of another ' impossible' princess.
But for the timing, we can only imagine what may have eventuated if this had caught on.

I never heard the whole album but some of those singles were shocking. I am especially thinking if that dirge written by Manic Street Preachers.
That whole album 'indie Kylie' campaign was a complete mess, from the album cover, the mess up over the album title to the songs.
Thank goodness Robbie Williams came to the rescue for the next album.

I agree. Impossible Princess was a tune-free trudge that would have never ‘caught on’ no matter when it was released.
