Haven't been to one since Tesla in September. I passed on Kiss and David Lee Roth about an hour and a half away last month because I figured I would catch them when they play here in September. Wish I had gone now.

I remember it was on my mind as had a discussion about hand washing in the pub beforehand (the gents had no hand wash). I won't say what I think about the way the government has handled this as want to avoid politics on here.

The Wedding Present in Middlesbrough in December last year. Apart from David Gedge, their frontman and only original member now, the entire band line up had changed from when I saw them only a couple of years earlier! A bit annoying as I liked that line up and they were putting out their best music in years. They were good, but the venue wasn't.

White Reaper at the Casbah in San Diego on March 6th. Even though it was a couple of weeks before the stay at home order, I was a bit surprised that they didn’t cancel/postpone.

Well over a year ago... Ray LaMontagne at the Riverside Theatre (Milwaukee), October 2018. My wife’s a big fan, and I’ve become a bit of a fan myself after seeing him.

Before that, it’s been nearly two years: James Taylor/Bonnie Raitt at Summerfest (Again, Milwaukee) July 2018, and Tedeschi Trucks Band at the aforementioned Riverside in May 2018.

Between outrageous ticket prices for most big names, and crowds full of a******s more interested in talking through the show, coming in late, and going to get beer every 15 minutes, I am pretty much through with live shows anyway.

Oh, crud. That’s right... I saw Los Lobos July 2018 too, at Turner Hall in Milwaukee, for my wife’s birthday. It was fine.

I’ve seen them probably a dozen times over the years. This last time was not their best.

First time I’d seen a show at Turner. Nice, intimate play to see a show. Sound was terrible though, in this old, drafty hall, and I think that affected my enjoyment.
