Tough to top U2's Helter Skelter, that's one of the two best Fabs '68 covers in my book.
My other favorite is an absolutely wretched cover of Hey Jude on a cheesy budget label exploitation lp by the 'Underground Electrics' (Crown CST 588). It's a crude piano backed demo of sorts sung by a middle aged crooner with no talent whatsoever. It's so bad it's hilarious. By far one of the worst songs I've ever heard and I totally love it.
One of those 'so bad it's good' type of songs. Guaranteed to stay in your ear forever once you hear it :)

We have a pretty similar top 10. My next 5 would be Blackbird, I Will, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Martha My Dear, and Revolution. Martha My Dear and Me And My Monkey top 15 for sure. Long Long Long I used to rate very low because I could barely hear it, but it has gone up to at least average in my estimation thanks to the re-mastered version which brought out the sound much more. Now I see it as a sort of prequel to his ALL THINGS MUST PASS work.

Ob Bla Di Ob Bla Da & Hey Jude...

Didn't like them in 1968 & still can't tolerate either

Hey Jude is tedious & monotonous

    Ob Bla Di is ridiculous

Nothing is popping into my head for the question.

Dang Side 3 is my favorite side of the White Album and seeing two John Lennon songs go in a round really hurt seeing.

I voted against ATU as I vastly prefer the version on Let It Be

The version on Let It Be was recorded in 1968, so the song in this poll isn't just referring to the inferior "wildlife" version from No One's Gonna Change Our World.

We’ve got four songs all really close to being knocked out.

I was figuring this was about songs released in 68 and that the other version would come up on a 69 or 70 poll. Certainly the strings on the Let It Be version were not recorded in 68. But I can see your interpretation too

OP Haristar has said that these polls will be sorted by recording years, not release dates, and that there won't be a 1970 poll (The other Let It Be songs that were initially recorded in 1969 will be released in the 1969 poll). That is why "Only a Northern Song," "It's All Too Much" and "All Together Now" were included in the 1967 poll.

As far as I am aware, this is the only poll that "Across the Universe" will be appearing in.

Love Lady Madonna reminds me of Jackie Mittoo (is that him on this?)

The Crystalites was the name used for producer Derrick Harriott's studio band(s), Gladstone Anderson and Winston Wright were keyboardists that appeared in those constellations, not sure who plays here. Jackie Mittoo was mainly at Studio One, in the 1965 game I posted a track featuring him: Least favourite Beatles 1965 song (Round 13)

If it's the compilation on the Blood & Fire label then that is actually a late 70s re-recording produced by Bunny Lee, the one I posted is the Studio One original.

I voted for "Mother Nature's Son".

To show how deep The Beatles catalog is this song was a favorite of John Denver. Supposedly he liked the song so much he was going name album as honor to this song.

Changed my I'm so Tired vote to Mother Nature's son to try and save I Will.
Kept my Glass Onion vote. It's a good song, but it is time for it to go.
