Fave solo has to be Old Brown Shoe, tho his solo in Fixing A Hole is really perfect as well.

Never was a fan of Don't Bother Me or I Me Mine. Both are pretty dour; he would go on to bigger and better things after Don't Bother Me, and had so many great songs that to "end" his Beatles career with I Me Mine is a shame.

Favorite GH guitar solo? I really dig his work in Free As A Bird. EDIT: maybe I mean Real Love... I think that one's a little better than Bird.

I again voted for Piggies and Not Guilty, partially due to my bias against harpsichord.

As for my favorite guitar solo he did with the Beatles, possibly Something. He had a great sense of where to take a solo so I enjoyed all his soloing and fills.

Northern Song and Blue Jay Way.

Two dirges, only partially redeemable by virtue of 1967's fleeting infatuation with psychedelia, silly sound effects and nonsensical whimsy.

That's tough...All of Roll Over Beethoven. (But Hey Bulldog is great and LIB LP version is too).

Voting here for Old Brown Shoe and For You Blue. No idea what's wrong with Devil in Her Heart, that got bounced last time.

Do You Want to Know A Secret

Both tracks are cringeworthy. Sorry, George.

My favourite Harrison guitar solo with the Beatles? If anyone can confirm that George plays the solo on Hey Bulldog, that would be my pick. It kind of sounds similar to McCartney's style though......regardless it is pretty awesome.

The day after he died, it was between that solo and Nowhere Man for my answering machine. I want with Nowhere Man, but love the Hey Bulldog solo, too.

    Not Guilty-though I don't consider it a Beatles song
For you blue-is what it is, sloppy

My favorite George solo is probably "Something", I also think highly of what he did on "Fixing a hole", Let it be" and plenty others

I cant conceive how people prefer Piggies and Blue Jay Way to Roll Over Beethoven.

    No kidding.

Equally crazy is the fact that a lousy unreleased demo is currently tied with Roll Over Beethoven for votes in this poll.

Blue Jay Way is creepy, unique, and has a cool atmosphere. Piggies I'm not keen on, but I appreciate the lyrics. Roll Over Beethoven is ok but nothing special.

I guess for folks who dont like The Beatles doing high energy Rock & Roll. Its the most rocking thing George ever did.

Best I can figure is maybe some folks aren't listening to it on a a stereo copy of The Beatles 2nd Album, but still . . .

Also a contender for his best Beatles guitar solo while we are om the topic, though I Saw Her Standing There likely edges it out.

Love You To and The Inner Light. I really like Piggies. Piggies eating bacon. LOL

Q: Here Comes The Sun. The timing of the rhythm and the chord progression in the solo section is brilliant.
