I think it might only be Celi's Bruckner I listen to.

I tried some Brahms, Beethoven and Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade from the The Munich box I have of his and they didn't really work for me. I did enjoy the slower Scheherazade in the past, but not any more.

Same here, didn't like LL's performance either - it didn't make it to my collection of 50+ versions of GV.
OTOH I really like little known organ version:

Thanks for checking. I guess I’ll have to pick one up one of these days. :)

EDIT: Funny, after days of searching, I suddenly find a CD version 30 mins after posting above. My lucky day.

Listening to "Handel - Gloria / Dixit Dominus" on BIS.

Gloria performed by Emma Kirkby with the Royal Academy of Ancient Music Baroque Orchestra led by Laurence Cummings.

Dixit Dominus performed by Hillevi Martinpelto and Anne Sophie von Otter with the Stockholm Bach Choir and the Drottingholm Baroque Ensemble led by Anders Ohrwall.

What's the consensus on the Jahrhundertring? (Boulez/Chéreau Ring cycle)
I saw a copy of the DVD set on Wonder Book for a decent price.

I've listened to about half of it and I like it a lot. It's not as eccentric as I feared! Excellent sound, too.

    Dvorak - Symphony #3

Not as individual as his big 3 (nos. 7 - 9), but surprisingly full of Romantic sweep.

Siegfried, from the 1955 performances at Bayreuth under Keilberth on Testament. This is an absolutely amazing performance from all standpoints, especially the UFB sound from a 67 year-old live performance. I know the Decca Solti cycle is coming, can this be bested?
