Lodge 49 - New Show on AMC

Thanks for your well-thought-out (apart from incorrect usage of "it's" ) post. You bring up an interesting conundrum: how can they advertise a show like this to illustrate its metaphysical and character-driven complexities, and thus attract viewers like us who appreciate these things?

 

I'm slowing going through the series for the second time. I'm picking up so many things I missed or forgot about, and am reveling again in how brilliant this show was: plot, dialogue, cinematography, acting...everything. In the 5th episode, I just noticed the hilarious notices, that are related to plot points, on the bulletin board here:

 

I keep thinking everyone reconsiders and they do a third season. If not on AMC, somewhere else. One can hope!

 

It may have had a small audience, but surely that audience loves it to death.

 

I just found out this has been canceled. Too bad. It was one of the cooler shows on TV right now. Nothing else quite like it.
