I refreshed myself on S1 and am eager for fresh weirdness. Something about the way these 4 underplay it helps to makes them so watchable. It's a question as to how supportive HBOMAX will be to the quirky stuff in the future. For me Irma Vep was hypnotic and House Of Drag is sominex but I fear that playing it safe could be the new way.
Well, this show does have the advantage of being bankrolled by Lorne Michels (note the "Broadway Video" logo at the end of each episode). I notice "Doom Patrol" is coming back for another season..... Now, I need conformation on "The Nevers" coming back, and I'll be happy!
