Marantz AV-7005 Won't Pass Through Video

My Marantz prepro has stopped passing through the video signal (to my display) when it's turned off and in stand-by. I used to be able to watch my display with the 7005 turned off but no longer. All I get now is the "no signal detected" script on the screen. It's supposed to pass the video in stand-by and has done so for years until now. I've checked everything I know to check but can't find any reason for it doing this. Anyone have a clue what might be causing it to do this because I'm stumped.

Did you make sure that all the cables are tight?

Try a different HDMI cable that may be the culprit.

 

Try resetting the Marantz to factory default.

 

I had the wrong standby input selected in the HDMI control menu. I'm not sure how I managed to do that, getting old and losing my mind I guess.
