Yes. It is a lot of fun weaving through the back alleys of MCU lore, and the prior seasons as well.

  2. Yep. The two episodes Take place in 1931 then moves into a different decade as the mission is accomplished. Pretty good so far

I think DC's Legends of Tomorrow could stand to give Marvel's Agents of Shield about 15% of it's whimsy and then both shows would be better.

But I'll keep watching - it is free OTA TV.

  4. I like both but very different tones for sure. There was more whimys earlier and some nice whimsy in these two episodes. I like both just...different.

Only two episodes in but I'm digging it so far. I like how they are tying back to MCU history and tidying up their own at the same time. Lots of palace intrigue with militant Daisy, hesitant Yoyo and crazy May and you know Fitz is going to pop up somewhere, but which one? I'm gonna miss this crazy show.

I thought the Blade Runner reference was hysterical.

I agree. I started cracking up and then had to explain what was so funny to my wife.

Probably their last chance to nail down a recognizable canon before Disney starts to retroinvent the entire MCU again.

Clark Gregg seems like he is having so much fun playing Android Coulson this season, it's quite infectious. I wonder if they are going to continue this two episodes per era approach, but then again, pretty soon they could start running into themselves, and I wouldn't be surprised if they did. They love painting these guys into a corner. I know it's a long shot but I am hoping for a Black Canary cameo somewhere too. She deserves it.

Do you mean Mockingbird? Black Canary is a DC character.

Hmmm, same thing happened with me and my fiancee.

I'm thinking when the final season was greenlit one (or all) of the actors said "hey can we make the season all about time travel so we can play vintage dress up."

  16. I don’t think that they will do that with Agents of Shield.

I find it more enjoyable to leave the thinking to the script writers.

Is this show still on the air?!?
I dumped out of it several seasons ago.
The story line just became too absurd.

Wise move - it only got worse. Me, that's why I LOVE it. 100% wackadoo every season. One of very few shows that didn't completely run out of gas after a few seasons. In fact, if anything, they just kept upping the ante.

More pedestrian storylines didn’t get it ratings so they had nothing to lose by going hog wild. And the show is all the better for it, especially after knocking off ultra annoying Grant.

Bingo. I can't help thinking they are going to run into him eventually. He and Daisy have some unresolved issues and given her 'Shoot First' attitude when it comes to Hydra, it should be interesting if they do.

Ugh. You are probably the only one that didn’t want him gone then. He’s one of those characters where the writers completely overestimated the popularity of. Everybody (except you) wanted him dead but they kept bringing him back anyways.
