The judges are annoying. I fast forward through it all on Hulu and just see who is under the costume.
One of the ideas I've seen thrown around is that they should scrap the judges and just have a running ticker of tweets/talk to audience members. I think the caliber of judges they got (Nicole Scherzinger's attractiveness aside) show that they weren't expecting this to be a success, and the bigger names they might have auditioned for the panel turned them down because of how it all must have looked on paper.
I agree. The badge sealed it. The lion? Not 100%, but.... Spoiler Diana Ross Clues: Spoiler Wizard Of Oz (The Wiz), Scrunchie (she used do her neighbors hair for extra income). Model (studied modeling)
I'm going to guess Rumer Willis is the lion. Her "family royalty" clue and she is an activist. The newspaper had the clue of "Gold Found in Hailey." She was raised in Hailey, Idaho. But I have no idea how the scrunchie would factor in. And she modeled for Badgley Mischka.
I get roped into watching these kinds of shows on occasion, usually in exchange for watching basketball or football. What I've seen of this one is no worse, and in some ways much better, than the usual el cheapo dross the networks are peddling in prime time.
Good lord. The true undoing of American sensibilities is in this show. Enjoy those that like it. I can only cringe.
The last show's clues all but confirmed this one. Born in Kentucky (Bluegrass State), the envelope with "Blue Moon" (the name of the detective agency on "Moonlighting", which starred her father Bruce Willis). The bees "10 Grammys" clue points to Chaka Khan.
Next week's episode: The semi-finals! Kenan Thompson will be a guest judge Two celebrities will be unmasked, leaving only the top three singers
The semi-finals are tonight! Next week's season finale will be 2 hours long, so it will be starting at 8:00 PM this time.
Seems like they found a show formula that is an equivalent to Dancing with the Stars, but for singing. Bring on celebrities who were once popular and give them a chance to be in the spotlight again.
