I saw that Bob Stanley's comp "Three Day Week" has Mike McCartney's b-side "Kill" on it, even though Mike withdrew it as an extra on his own cd reissue.

Wouldn't be surprised if Bob charmed him into it.

But the incredibly rare "Leave It" video is!

And I am happy to see both sides of his 1976 ("Do Nothing All Day") and 1980 ("All The Whales In The Ocean") reissued on CD at long last.
But it's strange that his ultimate single, 1981's "No Lar Di Dar" is not there as well.
Also, the 1977 unreleased song ("Walls Of Ignorance") recorded at Apple with Paul, Linda and Denny would have been a great addition.

While I'm glad the '76 and '80 singles are included, are those actually related to the *McGear album in any way? Or are they just here to (ostensibly) sum up the rest of his musical career?

Not sure. Couldn't blame him if he wanted to find them a place where they might get heard and not consigned to history.

Wonder if they'll use the original or CD versions of "Dance The Do" and "Sweet Baby".

I haven't purchased from Cherry Red before (well, hadn't until this morning)... are they pretty good for shipping to the US?

Maybe the "rough first mix" is the one that came with the 1990 Ryko CD ?
As to "Sweet Baby", both versions released on CD (Ryko 1990 and See For Miles 1992) are the same, but the See For Miles has a short extra finale absent from other releases.

Seems like a bit of "padding" to me. I'm good with my old Ryko disc.

Dang, I'd really like to hear an alternate "Rainbow Lady" in some form. Still, I'll have to get this.

Yeah, but a bonus CD and DVD all for just over twenty bucks (not to mention a signed postcard while supplies last)? What's not to love?

Just over $20? With shipping, I was at $31.28. But the point still stands: It's a good deal.

I was hoping for an alternate or demo of THE MAN WHO FOUND GOD ON THE MOON, but hey, not bad in the end, but I'm not much of a McGEAR Collector outside this disc, are the unreleased tracks on CD 2 also with Paul and Wings and also co or written by Paul? I'm not familiar with any of the following:
    5. PADDY PIPES 1
    6. DO NOTHING ALL DAY
    7. A TO Z
    8. GIRLS ON THE AVENUE
    9. PADDY PIPES 2
    10. ALL THE WHALES IN THE OCEAN
    11. BLOWIN’ IN THE BAY
    12. KEEP COOL (VERSION 1)
    13. KEEP COOL (VERSION 2)
    14. I JUST WANT WHAT YOU GOT – MONEY!
    15. PADDY PIPES 3

6 and 7 are both sides of a 1976 single from Mike, which I believe doesn't have Paul involvement (though I'm not entirely sure). 10 and 14 are both sides of a 1980 single, which I'm sure has no Paulvement.

The only Paul involvement with "All The Whales In The Ocean" is the fact that Paul was reportedly singing the tune to his jail mates while he was imprisoned in Japan in 1980 (or a similar story I've forgotten the details of).
