Steve, not sure how to ask this, so let's see how it comes out. When you're re-mixing a particular classic recording that's going to be a simultaneous re-mix for both conventional 2-channel stereo and a surround sound release of the same title, how does the two conflict with one another? Or, do you do one project at a time, maybe the 2-channel remix first, then the surround or is it done all in the same session? Just curious, and if these answers are found elsewhere on this forum, I'd like to check out the info. Thanks.

Two separate mixes, the two-channel and the 5:1. Thing is, I would use the original two-channel mix and concentrate on the Surround mix.

Steve, are you going to be doing any 5.1 soon? You don't have to spill the title, I would just love to hear an SH 5.1 release. I'm sure it would be excellent, and not gimmicky.
