More Notes If you start on the bottom of the bass clef and work your way up through middle C and the first note of the treble clef it's: G - B - D - F - A - C - E or GIBBEDY-FACE. Which explains why they called the album Every Good Boy Deserves Favor...
I'm not familiar with that album but as a guitar player, (well, when I hold my mouth right) I recall learning the lines on sheet music as E-G-B-D-F or as memory tool "Every Good Boy Does Fine". Is that it? I used to memorize my guitar strings E-B-G-D-A-E as "Elvis-Beatles-George(Thorogood)-Doors-Alice(Cooper)-Eagles". That was a little more hip than the usual "Easter-Bunnies-Get-Drunk-At-Easter". edit:let the record show Mazort beat me to the draw!
