Any view on the Fairport Convention remasters and how they compare to the original cds? I'm particularly interested in What We Did On Our Holidays, Unhalfbricking, and Liege and Lief. Also has anyone heard the remaster of All the Young Dudes? I've always thought the original cd sounded pretty poor. How does this compare?
The UK remasters sound spectacular good... the artwork reproduction is bad! They used LP covers and used a lowend scanner... aargh!
Don't have that one, but I just picked up the remaster of THE HOOPLE and it sounds fab! The domestic CD was horrible!
